As of press time, the earthquake has killed more than 41,000 people in Turkey and neighboring Syria.
[Explanation] After the earthquake, Wang Xinghua, a Chinese in Izmir, Turkey, immediately mobilized local overseas Chinese to donate money and materials.
He is currently preparing the third batch of aid materials and drove to Hatay, the hardest-hit area of the earthquake.

(February) On the 6th earthquake, on the 7th I sent him the first batch of supplies. We sent him five carts of supplies, and the supplies were sent to the place designated by the Izmir City Government, who will coordinate and deploy them in general , and then sent to the disaster area.
In the later stage, I came to the front line, and I wanted to purchase some things locally to ship to it, but you can’t buy many supplies at all, there is no such thing, I went to the gas station, and I went to all the two gas stations. The counters were empty, nothing, nothing, all bought and snatched.
[Explanation] Wang Xinghua said that the materials currently transported to the hardest-hit areas can basically meet the daily needs of the local people, but baby diapers and women's daily necessities are still in short supply.

I came back from the airport last night, and I saw that along the route from the airport to the disaster area, there were several kilometers of large transport trucks, which were constantly transporting things to the disaster area. It should be that the most basic thing is food. of.
I think there should be no shortage of things you usually use, but I think they still lack tents and the like.
Then yesterday I saw a message saying that the city government has updated the diapers that are short of children, and those special daily necessities used by lesbians are currently in short supply.

We are in an area, and there are basically no buildings in the ruins. They are all older children. We give him food, and then we ask him. I said they can leave, and the government can arrange them elsewhere. Place, why don't they leave? People say that there are our family members in the building and below the ground, so why should we leave.
[Explanation] After the earthquake, the Chinese government immediately launched an emergency humanitarian assistance mechanism to provide emergency assistance to Turkey and Syria.
A number of Chinese social emergency forces also went to Turkey to carry out search and investigation work.
China's rescue operation has been recognized by the local people in Turkey, which deeply touched Wang Xinghua, who has lived in Turkey for many years.

This time I experienced it personally, and whether it is some information shared from our Turkish circle of friends or our own Chinese circle of friends, I can clearly feel that the Turkish people appreciate the timely response of the Chinese government. The quick response to help and rescue them, and then including these civil society organizations in Turkey, are very grateful to the Turkish people for the help and funding they have extended, really very grateful.
