Every day, Europe 1 looks at an idea or a problem in your daily life.

Two months after its launch, the repair bonus seems to attract many individuals, who prefer to benefit from government aid, from 15 to 45 euros, to give a second life to their household appliances rather than buying a new device.

You are reheating your coffee in the microwave and there comes the tragedy: the appliance no longer works.

To avoid buying one, since mid-December, there is a bonus of 15 to 45 euros to have your appliances repaired and avoid the trash.

Government assistance that also works for cell phones or TV.

Two months after the launch of the device, Europe 1 makes a first assessment.

"It allows me not to buy a device"

Toolbox on his back, Karim, employed for four years in a home repair business, has a string of appointments.

This day is his sixth of the day.

"We have busy days. We have more and more reservations. Since there is this bonus system, we have more than 10% of reservations compared to that", he explains.

Nathalie wanted to take advantage of it.

His dishwasher leaks, but after a few turns of the screwdriver, everything works again.

"There, we will register the device so that the lady benefits from a bonus of 25 euros for the repair", resumes Karim.

A news that delights the customer.

"It allows me not to buy a device, it's mainly that. This dishwasher is still for sale and I checked, it is worth more than 1,000 euros. I was not going to give such a sum when we could fix it," says Nathalie.

Finally, Nathalie paid 70 euros for her repair instead of 95 euros.

Like Nathalie, everyone can benefit from the repair bonus.
