Tsekov also expressed his confidence that the new formation would be much more fair and beneficial to the international community.

Earlier, Volodin announced the need to create a new international organization instead of the Council of Europe.

On February 16, the State Duma adopted a law on the termination of the Council of Europe treaties with respect to Russia.

According to the document, in connection with the country's withdrawal from the council, it is proposed to consider 21 international treaties terminated.
