Today, Thursday, the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, warned the Americans against dragging Lebanon into chaos, stressing that this chaos will spread to the entire region.

Nasrallah said in a speech during a party celebration, "If the Americans push Lebanon into chaos, we will extend our hand to those who hurt them, even if that leads to war with Israel."

Nasrallah added that any delay in extracting oil and gas from Lebanese waters will be met by preventing Israel from extracting oil and gas from the Karish field.

He pointed to the existence of what he described as deliberate intentions to delay the issue of extracting gas from Lebanese fields, calling on the Lebanese government to take a bold decision, as he described it.

And the Secretary-General of Hezbollah warned that pushing the country towards chaos through the economic crisis will lead to the extension of this chaos to the entire region, as he put it.

On October 27, Lebanon and Israel signed a document of the maritime border demarcation agreement at the United Nations headquarters in Naqoura, south Lebanon, after the head of the executive authority in both countries signed it.

The agreement came after Lebanon and Israel engaged in indirect negotiations that lasted two years, mediated by the United States, over the demarcation of borders in an area rich in oil and natural gas in the Mediterranean, with an area of 860 square kilometers.

While Israel says that the entire Karish field is located in its exclusive economic zone, Lebanon says that the field is located in a part of the disputed waters with Israel, before the "settlement" agreement was signed between the two sides.

In a previous speech, Nasrallah said that the party's eyes are on the Karish gas field and its missiles are directed at it, noting that "it is not possible to allow oil and gas to be extracted from the Karish field before Lebanon obtains its rightful demands."
