A woman in her 20s and a man in her 45s were sitting watching TV when they were shot through the windows.
The man was hit by three shots.
The woman was hit in the back, millimeters from the spine.
- They have had a guardian angel and are doing well under the circumstances, prosecutor Thomas Bälter, who led the investigation, previously told SVT Uppsala.
The district court states that it is obvious that the shots were fatal.
The relative was arrested a few days after the shooting and is now sentenced to 14 years in prison for attempted murder.
The sentence also includes serious weapons offences.
