“A MiG-29 aircraft was shot down near the village of Cherevkovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and a Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down near the village of Slavyanka in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, Russian Aerospace Forces aviation shot down a Mi-8 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Ternovka, Zaporozhye region.
On February 9, it became known that Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft in the Kherson region.
