“President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev,” the Kremlin website said in a statement.
It is noted that the parties discussed the prospects for further development of trade and economic cooperation.
The leaders also considered the current situation in the South Caucasus region.
