  Li Xiayin said that the SAR government sincerely appreciates the strong support of the State Food and Drug Administration for the development of Chinese medicine in Hong Kong, including promoting the simplification of the approval process for the registration and sale of traditional Chinese medicines for external use registered in Hong Kong in the Mainland.

The relevant measures will facilitate Hong Kong's proprietary Chinese medicine manufacturers to explore the market, and will also create good conditions for Hong Kong's proprietary Chinese medicines to "go global" in the long run.
