A rescue man in the earthquake zone in Turkey revealed the most places where they found deaths inside the collapsed buildings due to the earthquake that struck southern Turkey and northern Syria recently, advising them not to escape and to choose shelter carefully.

And through a video clip published by the disaster management account of the Relief and Humanitarian Aid (IHH) in Turkey, the rescuer Kurtuluş Altun gave the most important and important tips that must be taken during earthquakes.

And about the safest place at the moment of the earthquake, Altun said: "Dear friends.. When the earthquake strikes, if you lie down on the side of the sofa, you will survive. Escaping is the most dangerous thing; during search and rescue, the most places where there were deaths are the stairs (stairs)."

Altun added that when the earthquake occurred, "hide immediately next to the most thing that can protect you, and take water and sugar with you, because this may enable you to endure for a longer period, in addition to taking something with you that makes a sound such as a phone or something else, because after a time a person's strength runs out and his soul gets tired. No Run away, just stay in a safe area."

Since the earthquake occurred on the sixth of February, the disaster management of the Turkish Relief and Humanitarian Aid Authority has been participating in search and rescue operations.

The advice of the Turkish rescuer came in line with the advice of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention when earthquakes occur, which it called "Drop, Cover, Hold on".

During an earthquake, the American Centers recommend that a person get down on his hands and knees and cover his head, neck and entire body - if possible - under a table, a strong desk, or solid furniture that provides protection such as a desk or bed, and if there is no shelter nearby, let the person go down close to the wall. Or next to low furniture that does not fall on him, and covers his head and neck with his arms and hands.

And I instructed that the person should remain in his place until the shaking stops, and if he was inside, he should stay in his place, and not run outside or to other rooms during the earthquake.

The American Centers also advised moving away quickly from glass, hanging objects, bookcases, or any other large furniture that could fall.
