The earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria left 35,200 dead in a final report, but new survivors have appeared every day since the natural disaster, which occurred on the night of February 6.

A 24-year-old young woman was rescued after six days under the rubble, as rescuers tell us at the microphone of Europe 1.

The human losses caused by the earthquake which shook Turkey and Syria continue to increase.

There are nearly 35,200 dead and around 193,000 injured on Monday, according to a report by the employers' association Turkonfed.

Despite the horror, the hope of finding a loved one does not dry up in the affected regions, as survivors emerge every day since the beginning of the natural disaster.

This is the case of a young Turkish woman, aged 24, who was rescued by rescuers.

The young woman barely saved

The survivor remained under the rubble of a supermarket before leaving, lying on a stretcher, from a tunnel dug by the rescuers.

The latter managed to reassure the crowd, in tears, on the encouraging state of the young woman: "She was in good condition, in good health. She was able to speak and manage on her own. We just cleared the way ".

However, the rescuers were about to leave the scene, before hearing the calls of the survivor.

"We were about to leave this building but wanted to do one last check, just in case. I thought I heard a noise but I didn't know if it was coming from the building or from people passing outside. When we heard the sound actually coming from inside the building, we started to work."

Victims forced to steal to survive

Last Sunday night, seven people were pulled out of the debris in Turkey, according to local media, including a 3-year-old child and a 60-year-old woman.

While 34,000 rescuers are still working in search of survivors, help is pouring in from all over the place of the epicenter.

Equipment is used to support the rescuers in their search: tents have been erected, toilets are beginning to appear...

But the lack of resources is felt because the inhabitants explain witnessing thefts in supermarkets, justified by the absolute necessity in which they find themselves, for lack of support from the authorities.
