The Maritime Development Bureau of Qingdao City's Jimo City has sent out a notification to fishing boats that the facility is "preparing to shoot down."
According to RIA Novosti, in the notification, citizens were asked to take photos of objects in case they fall next to the fishermen's boats.
At the same time, the authorities did not specify what kind of unidentified flying object they were talking about and whether it was shot down.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence of the United States previously released a report according to which the United States authorities recorded more than 500 sightings of unidentified flying objects.
