The head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry spoke out against the calls of the EU leadership for the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

He commented on the call of the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola to transfer combat aircraft and long-range missiles to Ukraine.

Szijjarto stressed that such actions only prolong the conflict and have already caused damage to European countries, TASS reports.

The minister also called the European Parliament "one of the most corrupt organizations in the world."

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the supply of arms by the West to Ukraine could fundamentally change nothing.
