Approximately 250 people, including local residents, business people, and prefectural officials in charge of the summit, participated in the cleanup activities around the Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima in Minami Ward, Hiroshima City, where the G7 Hiroshima Summit will be held. Did.

After this, the participants were divided into three groups and picked up empty cans and garbage that had fallen on the beach around the hotel.



A mother in her 30s who participated with her daughter said, "This is an opportunity for people from all over the world to take notice, so I would like to promote my hometown, Hiroshima, as a beautiful city."



According to Hiroshima Prefecture, next month, Miyajima in Hatsukaichi City, where the World Heritage Site Itsukushima Shrine is located, will also be cleaned up.
