This was stated by retired United States Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with the US Tour of Duty YouTube channel.

According to him, Russia will emerge from the Ukrainian conflict much stronger than "ever in its history."

Ritter added that Western states made a big mistake by starting a confrontation with Russia, because in this way they provided Moscow with the opportunity to "remove the international security uncertainty that has existed since the 1990s."

Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Russia would win in Ukraine if the West did not urgently supply weapons to the Ukrainian army.

In October, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that a Russian victory in the conflict in Ukraine would be a defeat for NATO.
