In an interview with RTVI, he recalled that Western weapons are actively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to shell residential areas and kill civilians.
“All these are war crimes... The latest example is the shelling of a hospital in Novoaidar with the help of the American MLRS HIMARS by the Armed Forces of Ukraine... It is clear that the American side is also responsible for this war crime,” Polishchuk said.
On January 28, 14 people were killed and 24 were injured as a result of the morning shelling of the hospital in Novoaydar by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova appealed to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in connection with the incident.
The Russian Foreign Ministry pointed to the involvement of the United States in the conflict due to the silence on the shelling of the hospital by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
