SVT Nyheter Skåne has previously told about Kerstin Andersson whose husband Gert-Åke died in November.

Since it was he who signed the electricity contract, she would not be entitled to electricity support at the same time as the rest of the household.

Instead, the electricity subsidy to the estate would be paid out in connection with the electricity subsidy for business activities.

When the reporter gets hold of Kerstin Andersson, she has not heard that the government has changed its mind.

- Oh, that was nice to hear.

"Fairer this way"

She will likely receive around SEK 5,000, the same amount as her electricity bill in December.

- I am satisfied.

Even though I manage financially because I live cheaply, I think it's fairer this way.

This is how Ebba Busch (KD) writes in a press release:

"Widows, widowers, children and other survivors should be able to feel secure that they will also receive relief for the high electricity bills.

Now we have clarified the regulations so that the electricity subsidy can be paid out more quickly and in connection with the payments to other households by the Social Insurance Agency."

Kerstin Andersson in Svedala received the message from Försäkringskassan that she will be without electricity support, because the electricity contract was with her husband and he passed away in November.
