"We have decided to compensate all Ile-de-France residents who have purchased three monthly passes over the last four months of 2022 by half a month", announced the president of the Ile-de-France region, Valérie Pécresse, during a meeting. press conference.

Some users of RER B and D will benefit from additional compensation due to a regularity of less than 80% on their axis for several months.

Valérie Pécresse announced on December 31 that the "reductions of charges" - namely the sums not paid by IDFM to the RATP due to a lack of service - would be returned to users.

As a reminder, 25% of the planned buses did not run on the RATP surface network during the last four months of the year as well as 10 to 20% of the metros.

“The recovery is underway and it is progressing slowly,” noted the regional president, promising to make a new progress report on Monday.

"We were forced in January to increase the price of the Navigo Pass very sharply - from 75.20 euros to 84.10 euros - in a period when the quality of service was not there", lamented Valerie Pécresse.

Additional compensation for RER B and D

IDFM's online compensation space will open on March 14 and it will be possible to make a request for a month, simply by communicating your Pass Navigo number or bank statements proving the payments.

In addition to this exceptional compensation - for a total amount of 60 million euros - IDFM will pay up to 7 million euros to certain users of the RER B and D who are victims of repeated malfunctions on their lines.

Four sections of B and one of D are eligible.

All you have to do is present a certificate of residence or employer proving the regular use of these axes and having purchased monthly tickets for periods when the quality of service was less than 80%.

For three months with less than 80% regularity, each user of these lines will be reimbursed for half a month of their ticket and for six months, it will be a full month.

In total, the allowances can go up to 112.80 euros if they are combined.
