It is noted that at the moment the diplomatic mission has a reduced staff of 106 American and 250 local employees.

“We do not comment on our internal personnel policy, but continue to work to strengthen our diplomatic presence in Kyiv in order to strengthen our strong partnership with Ukraine at this difficult moment,” the publication quotes the words of an unnamed State Department official.
