According to TASS, Nebenzya said this during a speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council, which was convened at the initiative of the Russian side.
“We will make sure that never in the future, a threat to either Russia, or its allies, or Russian culture, or the Russian language, will ever come from the territory of Ukraine,” Nebenzya said.
The diplomat added that Russia would also make every effort to ensure that the glorification of Adolf Hitler's accomplices would never again happen in Ukraine.
Nebenzya stressed that all this should be the basis for negotiations.
In December, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Russia was determined to ensure that the objectives of the NMD were met.
