NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg did not rule out the possibility of a conflict in Asia along the lines of the Ukrainian one

“What is happening today in Europe may happen tomorrow in Asia,” RIA Novosti quoted Stoltenberg as saying.

In his opinion, the Chinese authorities are closely monitoring the developments in Ukraine and are learning lessons that may influence their decisions in the future.

He added that NATO allies are concerned about what is happening in the Asian region.

In November, the PRC Ministry of Defense announced that the Chinese army continues to train troops in case of a military conflict, Beijing calls on the United States not to violate the territorial integrity of the PRC on the situation around Taiwan.
