17 of Sweden's 21 regions have to some extent introduced so-called speech recognition.

The technology converts speech into written journal text with the help of AI.

Region Kronoberg, together with Region Skåne and St. Göran's Hospital in Stockholm, has come the furthest in Sweden to introduce the method widely.

Over 800 employees use the technology in Kronoberg.

A doctor describes recurring misspellings – such as Lessebo being consistently perceived as Liseberg by the AI.

SVT also uses AI subtitling - which can misunderstand words.
