At the government's expert meeting held on the 8th, a discussion was held on the draft basic guidelines compiled by the government for the start of operation of the system.

The draft guidelines stipulate that by prohibiting the filing of patent applications in foreign countries due to non-disclosure of patent applications, applicants will be compensated for losses that would normally occur.

At the meeting on the 8th, there was an opinion that it should be concretely indicated in what cases the loss of the applicant will be compensated.

The government will make a cabinet decision on the draft guidelines based on the opinions of the expert panel and public comments, and will aim to start operation next spring.
