It's called "boffa" and it involves inhaling propellant from spray cans to get high and it can be really dangerous because most people who try to inhale also suffer from shortness of breath.

And now it's dry shampoo that applies.

"More supervision is required"

The city library at Kulturens hus has for some time had major problems with toilets that are soaked with dry shampoo and therefore some of them have been temporarily locked.

Today, this applies to four out of six toilets.

- It has been a bit messy at Kulturens hus and we have also increased our security guards so that the staff don't have to chase people and work with what they are employed for, culture.

People may think that Kulturens hus is a quiet place, but our young people and adults probably need a little more supervision than that, says unit manager Mathias Silvder.

"We have to think big city"

He says that it has been common for people to take drugs in the library toilets ever since Kulturens hus was opened.

- There are a lot of drugs in Luleå and I unfortunately think that this is the future that the municipality has to face.

We have become a big city, even though we are a small town in Norrbotten.

I think we have to respond to this by thinking more big city and those solutions and now it is important to mark against this mess in the toilets, says Mathias Silvder.
