“Today, the State Duma adopted in the first reading several bills on the integration of the social rights of residents of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into Russian legislation,” Volodin said.

He explained that the bills define the features related to the subsistence minimum in new regions, the payment of pensions, sick leave, benefits for pregnancy and childbirth and child care, support for veterans, the disabled and other categories of citizens.

Also, in the first reading, a draft law was adopted on the specifics of the legal regulation of relations in the areas of health protection, compulsory medical insurance, circulation of medical devices and medicines in the territories of new regions.

We are talking about the recognition of qualifications and licenses received by doctors and pharmacists before the entry of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into the Russian Federation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier promised to find out if new Russian regions are included in the cancer control program.
