The three teenage girls are said to have been held captive on the night between the second and third of February in an apartment in central Falkenberg, where one of the men is listed.
It was at lunchtime on Friday that the two men in their 30s were arrested in connection with a police operation against the apartment, and the girls could be acquitted.
During the weekend, the police heard witnesses and plaintiffs, and had several interviews with the two suspects.
Have the girls been drugged by the men?
- I cannot answer that at the moment.
Now there will be an analysis and a technical investigation, says prosecutor Klas Lundgren, who is otherwise tight-lipped about the details of the incident.
Both men have previously been convicted of, among other things, minor drug offenses and one of them for assault.
