Russian banks began mass testing payment stickers that will replace Apple Pay

Pilot batches of stickers from Sberbank, MTS Bank, Tinkoff Bank, Alfa-Bank and MKB have already been released on the market.

It is noted that VTB and Post Bank are also planning to issue stickers.

Banks are primarily targeting iPhone owners, whose market in Russia is estimated at 19 million units.

Earlier it was reported that the largest supplier of terminals for receiving cards Ingenico will consider leaving Russia.
