When asked if a settlement of the situation in Ukraine could be expected in 2023, Nebenzya replied: “We all hope for peace.”

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Russian groups of troops continue to grind weapons and equipment that Western countries supply to Ukraine.

According to him, equipment is being destroyed, including on delivery routes.

In January, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov noted that Western military equipment, coming to Ukraine in an increasing flow, would be "literally ground."
