Lavrov announced the negative reaction of the West to the strengthening of relations between Russia and Mali

He said this at a press conference in Mali after a meeting with his Malian counterpart Abdoulaye Diop.

“We see, of course, the negative reaction of Western states to these processes in Russian-Malian relations,” the minister said.

According to him, Moscow notes with regret that this is yet another manifestation of the West's negative attitude towards the principles of equality and mutual respect, as well as the principles of the UN Charter.

Lavrov also invited Malian Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop to visit Russia.
