Lavrov: Russia will impede Western attempts to introduce colonial methods in Africa

According to TASS, Lavrov said this after a meeting with the president of the transitional period of Mali, Assimi Goita.

“We will oppose the increasing attempts to reintroduce colonial measures into international communication,” the diplomat stressed.

Lavrov also confirmed Russia's intention to uphold the principles of the sovereign equality of states.

Earlier, Sergey Lavrov noted that the “rules-based order” imposed by the West implies a racist division of the world into exceptional and the rest.
