Il-76 aircraft of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia arrived in Syria to provide assistance after the earthquake

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov sent condolences to Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad over the consequences of the earthquake in the country.
