Three of the embezzlement defendants are said to have acquired, stored and disposed of goods worth at least SEK 10 million between January and April 2021. The goods have mainly been stored in Arlöv and in unknown locations around the country.

The property consisted, among other things, of over 400 stolen mobile phones, a couple of hundred laptops and game consoles and nearly 200 headphones.

Before the goods ended up in Arlöv, the league is suspected of having stolen them from parked trucks at rest areas.

The prosecutor assesses the crime as serious when "the act intended for significant value, was part of a crime that was practiced systematically and was of a particularly dangerous nature as it concerned the handling of goods seized during transport", it is stated in the lawsuit that was submitted on Monday to Malmo court.

"A Pack of Wolves"

- They are like a pack of wolves that go out on European roads in order to find the right places.

We know that they are usually between five and ten people and that they have smaller trucks, escort cars and guards when they carry out the thefts, said Mikael Björk, the police's intelligence leader, earlier to SVT Nyheter Skåne.

The three who are suspected of gross theft are said to have stolen over 200 laptops from a transport company and then loaded the computers into a container stored in Helsingborg.

The value of the computers is at least SEK 2 million.

The evidence consists of, among other things, videos from surveillance cameras, chats and messages from seized phones and oral interviews.

All 13 defendants deny wrongdoing.

SVT has contacted the prosecutor for a comment.
