The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the liberation of the settlement Nikolaevka (DPR) during the work of the Russian military as part of a special operation in Ukraine.
“In the course of successful offensive actions in the Donetsk direction, volunteers of the assault detachments, with fire support from the missile forces and artillery of the Yuzhnaya group of forces, liberated the settlement of Nikolaevka,” said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
According to the agency, up to 90 Ukrainian servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles, two armored fighting vehicles and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed in this direction in a day.
In the area of the settlement of Constantinople (DPR), a warehouse with artillery ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a fuel storage for military equipment were destroyed.
In turn, in the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, artillery fire and active actions of the Vostok group of forces hit the manpower and equipment of the 1st tank and 72nd mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the 110th territorial defense brigade in the areas of Ugledar ( DPR) and Novodarovka (Zaporozhye region).
The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 70 military personnel, one tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, as well as D-20 and D-30 howitzers in these areas in a day.
During the counter-battery battle in the Kherson direction, a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, an Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer, a Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer, and a D-30 howitzer were destroyed in a day.
In the Ochakov area (Nikolaev region), an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was hit.
In the Kupyansk direction, artillery fire from the Zapadnaya group of troops hit the manpower and equipment of the units of the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade and the 14th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region and the Luhansk People's Republic.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, up to 40 Ukrainian servicemen and two vehicles were destroyed.

The press service of the Russian Guard stated that the artillery units of the department, taking part in a special military operation, in the course of carrying out fire missions in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, destroyed a communication center and suppressed eight enemy facilities, including a foreign-made radar station.
More than 30 reconnaissance and over 90 special events were carried out with the artillery support of the Russian Guard, and the tasks of the units for the protection and defense of temporary deployment points were ensured.
