The head of Ukrainian military intelligence will be the new defense minister

The head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kirilo Budanov, will replace Oleksii Reznikov as Defense Minister after corruption scandals and pending a new Russian offensive, Deputy David Arakhamia announced Sunday.

"Kirilo Budanov will head the defense ministry, which is absolutely logical in times of war," the deputy said, referring to the 37-year-old head of Ukrainian military intelligence.
