Turkey's Malatya reports more than 20 deaths in earthquake

“In the city of Malatya, 140 buildings are currently known to have collapsed.

23 people died, 420 were injured," TASS quoted him as saying.

Rescuers are working in the city, rubble is being cleared.

Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 7.6 occurred in Turkey.

According to TASS, citing the governors of the provinces of Diyarbakir, Malatya, Osmaniye and Sanliurfa, 51 people died.
