“As a result of the earthquake in the suburbs of Latakia, a building collapsed, several more received visible damage,” the report says.
It is noted that residents of the city and some settlements nearby took to the streets, fearing the collapse of houses.
Earlier, at least four provinces of Turkey were recorded destruction after the earthquake.
Turkey also announced the highest level of alarm due to earthquakes.
