A motion from La France insoumise calling for the rejection of the entire pension reform was rejected on Monday by the National Assembly.

The National Assembly rejected Monday, by 292 votes against 243, a LFI motion asking for the rejection of the entire pension reform, at the opening of debates on the government's project.

In support of the motion, the leader of the group of rebellious Mathilde Panot had castigated a project which "aggravates the chaos" for French people already facing many difficulties.

The elected officials of Nupes and RN brought their votes, but not those of LR.
