Palestine condemns Western double standards, including anti-Russian sanctions

He noted that Palestine does not accept the double standards of the West, just like Russia.

Riyad al-Maliki added that Europeans and Americans imposed sanctions against Russia for the events that took place in Crimea, without condemning Israel's actions in Palestine.

"They have refrained from any action against Israel, which has occupied the Palestinian territories for the past 55 years," the minister said.

Earlier, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry announced pressure from a number of EU countries on the issue of condemning Russia's actions.

It was also reported that the terms of the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine to Moscow are being worked out.
