  "Youth is strong, East Asia is strong, China, Japan and South Korea are strong." Ou Boqian said that the cooperation between China, Japan and South Korea is future-oriented cooperation.

  According to the "China-Japan-Korea Data Port" created by the Secretariat, in China, Japan and South Korea, the number of young people under the age of 45 is as high as 900 million, and the number of young people under the age of 35 is also nearly 700 million.

Ou Boqian said, "We hope to make youth activities a major project of the secretariat to drive and promote joint exchanges between youths of the three countries, with a view to realizing the goal of youths from China, Japan and South Korea sharing their youth and future."

  Talking about the specific projects of the "China-Japan-Korea Youth Month", Ou Boqian introduced that on February 10, the Secretariat will hold the launching ceremony of the "China-Japan-Korea Youth Exchange Network" in Tokyo, Japan, integrating the "China-Japan-Korea Youth Ambassador Project" The original projects such as the China-Japan-Korea Youth Speech Contest, the China-Japan-Korea Youth Summit, the China-Japan-Korea Asian Campus Alumni Workshop and the China-Japan-Korea Children’s Fairy Tale Exchange Activity, etc. The "Three Kingdoms Youth Farmer Leaders Exchange" project; the Secretariat also newly established the "Secretariat Youth Internship" project this year, and the "China, Japan, and South Korea Social Media Youth Support Group" project, a total of 9 projects.

  According to Ou Boqian, the platform recruits a group of professionals every year to serve as mentors for the "China-Japan-Korea Youth Exchange Network".

They will not only provide professional guidance for youths from the three countries to participate in the "China-Japan-Korea Youth Exchange Network" project, but also share experience and provide advice on issues of most concern to young people in their growth, such as learning and employment.

  At the same time, after the platform selection, the secretariat will provide certain financial support to the winning projects every year.
