According to Météo-France, this Monday, fine sunny spells are expected over the western two-thirds of France.

On the rest of the country, the day will start under an often overcast sky, patches of low clouds or fog will often be in place.

Minimum temperatures will be between 0 and 2 degrees inland.

Beautiful thinnings are expected on Monday on the western two-thirds of the country, forecasts Météo-France.

In a flow directed to the north, the cloud cover will remain blocked for a good part of the day on the Pyrenees chain and the foothills, giving light snowfall beyond 500m.

The clouds will however manage to break up at the end of the day and will give way to beautiful clearings.

Some scattered rain will also affect the regions bordering the Gulf of Lion until midday.

Over the hours, the grayness will slowly dissipate from Picardy to Brittany, from Aquitaine to Midi-Pyrénées in the morning, to Centre-Val de Loire and Burgundy, Languedoc-Roussillon and the PACA region after -noon.

The maximum will range from 4 to 6 degrees from the north-eastern borders to 8 to 10 towards Brittany, the south of the Garonne, 10 to 12 on the shores of the Mediterranean.
