Members of an organization banned in Russia told The Guardian about this.

According to the interlocutors of the publication, when preparing sabotage, members of the battalion form task forces, find safe routes to Russia and study the experience of those who were involved in smuggling before the start of the special operation in Ukraine.

On December 25, an attempt to penetrate the territory of the Bryansk region from Ukraine was made by four saboteurs, all of them were destroyed.

Members of the sabotage and reconnaissance group were 34-year-old Yuriy Gorovets (call sign Svyatosha), 32-year-old Maksim Mikhailov (call sign Don’t Drink Beer), 38-year-old Taras Karpyuk (call sign Tarasiy) and 19-year-old Bogdan Lyagov (call sign Apollo).

As it became known to RT, the militants were associated with one of the Ukrainian nationalists Dmitry Korchinsky, the leader of the extremist organization "Brotherhood".
