Russian forces have continued their heavy offensive to seize Ukrainian strongholds in the eastern Donetsk region.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov has stressed that the Russian military will launch a large-scale attack in February and will fight back.

In Ukraine, where the Russian army is invading, two missiles were fired into the city center in Kharkiv in the east on the 5th, one of which landed near an apartment building.

Kharkiv Governor Sinegbov said several people were injured in the apartment complex.

Russian forces are also fighting hard to seize Bakhmut, one of the Ukrainian strongholds in the eastern Donetsk region.

The US think tank War Research Institute pointed out on the 4th that the Russian military is concentrating troops and weapons for decisive attacks in the western part of the eastern province of Luhansk and Bakhmut in Donetsk province.

Under these circumstances, Ukraine's Defense Minister Reznikov held a press conference on the 5th, saying, "There is a possibility that Russia will launch an attack in February. It is not logical militarily for symbolic reasons, and Russia is also preparing. But they will still come, ”he said, predicting that the Russian army will carry out a large-scale attack this month, one year after the invasion.

In addition, he emphasized his readiness to fight with all his might, saying, "We may not be able to make all the weapons of the West in time, but we are ready."
