The TikTok social media platform announced new procedures that the platform will follow to control the quality of content.

According to the information available, those in charge of TikTok are trying through new procedures to make things easier for bloggers and give them more data about what is happening to their accounts, and for this reason the developers have created the updated “account verification system”, through which content makers will be able to check if their posts will not be deleted due to Violation of the rules of the platform.

"Most members of society aim to follow the policies, but there is a small minority of people who frequently violate the policies and do not change their behavior," a statement from the platform said.

With the new procedures, the content maker will receive a warning from TikTok that his post will be removed from the platform if it violates the general rules, and if the user reaches the maximum number of warnings within the new rules, his TikTok account will be banned if it is determined that the violations were "serious".

And repeat offenders tend to follow a pattern, with the analysis finding that nearly 90% of violators use the same feature consistently, and more than 75% frequently violate the same policy category.

Under the new system, if someone posts content that violates one of TikTok's Community Guidelines, the account will get a warning when the content is removed.

If an account meets the threshold for warnings within a product feature (such as comments or live broadcasts) or a policy (such as cases of bullying), it will be permanently banned.

Warnings and penalties

These policy limits vary depending on the severity of the violation in harming members of the community, for example there may be a stricter limit for violating TikTok's policy against promoting dangerous ideologies, compared to simply sharing harmful spam.

The report stated that TikTok will continue to apply its policy of permanently banning publication in the event of serious violations, including promoting or threatening violence, displaying or facilitating child sexual abuse material, or showing real violence or torture on the platform.

As an additional precaution, accounts that accumulate a large number of warnings for either policy violations or misuse of features will also be permanently banned.

It also mentioned that the validity of the warning is 90 days from sending it to the user, then it is automatically canceled from the system.

These changes are intended to increase transparency about publishing decisions and help the community better understand how to follow the platform's guidelines.

Meanwhile, content creators on TikTok will be able to use a new tool through which they can track blocked content in the last 90 days, and this feature will appear in the "Account Status" section of the app's "Safety Center".

The platform will also start notifying content creators if it is about to permanently remove their account.
