“Students of one of the capital's universities, presumably in a state of intoxication, fired from a diluted Kalashnikov assault rifle.

The police officers who arrived at the scene detained the perpetrators," law enforcement agencies told TASS.

The Moscow Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia confirmed the relevant information. 

An investigation into the incident is underway.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin said that more than 3.7 thousand residents of the Belgorod region were resettled due to shelling by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, noted that the region spent over 150 million rubles to restore houses after shelling by Ukrainian militants.
