According to the grocery store's environmental manager Andreas Söderström, the pressure on customers has increased at the same rate that the store has chosen to sell more of the goods and products that would otherwise be thrown away.

- I think it's a shame to throw away food, it's unnecessary and we can find another solution, he says.

At the moment, they sell both yesterday's bread, fruit and vegetables, goods with a short date and dry goods where the packaging itself is broken but where the goods are still okay.
