Shortly after midnight, an alarm was received about a fire in an underground garage.
Several units were called to the scene to fight the fire.
- Such heavy fire smoke developed that it spread to three stairwells, but we did not have to evacuate people, says Patric Fors, the police's press officer.
In addition, two more cars have burned in two places in Malmö during the night.
A report of damage by fire has been made and the police are investigating whether there is a connection between the fires.
No one is reported to have been injured and what may have started the fires is still unclear.
