This 22-year-old young man died after receiving two shotgun blasts in the abdomen while he was at the foot of a building in the sensitive district of Dervallières on October 11, 2019.

The day after the shooting, the suspect fled.

He was arrested a few months later in Tirana in Albania, his native country.

In police custody, he had admitted to being the author of the fatal shots, denying however that he wanted the young man and to have premeditated his gesture.

The Assize Court eventually found him guilty of murder and attempted murder of two friends of the victim.

This drama had created a strong emotion in the district of Dervallières, regularly shaken by settling of accounts against a backdrop of drug trafficking.
