In this case, the increase in the area of responsibility is associated with the entry into Russia of new subjects and the inclusion of the DPR and LPR people's militia associations in the Russian Armed Forces, ”explained the press service of the Southern Military District.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded that the problems of the inhabitants of the new Russian regions be immediately resolved.
On September 30, 2022, Putin signed agreements on the entry of four new subjects into the Russian Federation - the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
