“We value our relations with Serbia,” Peskov said.
He stressed that Russian-Serbian relations have deep historical roots, as well as prospects for development in the future.
“We hope that bilateral relations will continue to develop in an upward direction,” Peskov stated.
Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic could not say how much longer Belgrade would be able to withstand without imposing anti-Russian sanctions, but said that the country would try to survive as long as possible.
