Until now, it has been free of charge for those who have come to the hospital with the police, and some businesses have made their own decisions.
But now a decision has been made for the entire region.
- We have decided that care visits for trace protection and damage documentation when you have been exposed to sexual abuse or violence in a close relationship should be free of charge, says regional councilor Linda Jonsson (V).
Norrbotten follows several other regions that have previously removed the fees, and the regional council hopes that the lowered bar for securing tracks will also facilitate legal proceedings,
