US State Department spokesman Ned Price praised the US partnership with Qatar, considering it an indispensable partner.
Price stressed - during a press conference - that Doha represents a force for achieving stability and integration in the region.
The US official said that his country greatly appreciates the role Qatar played in the US approach to Afghanistan, noting that Qatar had hosted individuals who left Afghanistan since the end of the US military presence there in August 2021.
Price added that the US partnership with Qatar "goes beyond the common approach towards Afghanistan, as it represents a force for achieving stability and broader integration across the region, and we work with it on bilateral and multilateral priorities."
